Mr. Badhan Roy is one of the Partner & Deputy Head of the Chambers. Mr. Roy is the second person in command and assist the Head of Chambers in directing and supervising the works of our Legal and Administrative teams. Besides that, he leads our Corporate & Commercial Team as a Team Leader. Mr. Badhan Roy is also in charge of our sister concerns elawyerbd.com, Jurisprudence Academy and Jurisprudence Books & Publications. 

Mr. Badhan Roy, a promising young Lawyer of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. He started his legal career with a leading Corporate Law Firm in Dhaka, Bangladesh and served the firm for a period of more than 3 years. During this period, he has developed expertise in the areas of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Customs, VAT & TAX, Banking & Commercial, Employment Laws, Corporate, Real Estate, Labour Laws, Litigation, Drafting & Documentation and Company matters. 

As a key member of the firm, Mr. Roy regularly appears in Courts, Tribunals and also in Arbitrations. He also regularly advises clients and makes agreements for corporate clients. He is experienced in Litigation, consultation and providing corporations with legal advice on different areas of law.

Mr. Badhan Roy completed his LL.B (Hon’s) from University of Asia Pacific and completed his LL.M from Jagannath University. He also completed a Diploma in Human Rights and Legal Aid from Humanist and Ethical Association of Bangladesh in collaboration with Dhaka International University (DIU). Mr. Roy has been recognized as a Regional Contributor for his valuable contribution to the World Bank, Doing Business Report 2018 & 2019. He has received several training on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) from Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC) and he also has trained in Corporate Practice from renowned institutions.
